 Monroe Bank Launches New Website
BLOOMINGTON, IN — Monroe Bank, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Indiana bank holding company Monroe Bancorp (NASDAQ:MROE), announced today the launch of their new website, www.monroebank.com. The updated site will continue to offer free online banking and free online bill payment, and now includes the added benefits of an online mortgage application service, more intuitive site navigation tools and a significant amount of new content.

Designed by Cairril.com Design of Bloomington and launched March 30th, the new site provides visitors with comprehensive product and service descriptions ranging from typical banking products for individuals and businesses, to descriptions of services offered by its Wealth Management Group. It also provides information about foreclosed property that the Bank has for sale, and about employment opportunities within the organization. The new site features a greater number of online tools including the ability to apply online for mortgages, to reorder checks and to access Trust and 401(k) account information. In addition, it will soon offer visitors a tool to help keep tabs on their credit by ordering a credit report through the site.

"The updated design is now much more reflective of the character of Monroe Bank as a sophisticated provider of a full range of financial services and as an organization proudly rooted in our community banking heritage," said Danise Alano, Monroe Bank Vice President and Marketing Director. "We believe that the changes provide an inviting Web environment that allows our customers and potential customers to find information quickly and easily.
