Monroe Bank, the 110-year-old community bank headquartered
in Bloomington, Indiana, announced it will celebrate on Tuesday,
May 14 the opening of its new Brownsburg banking center, the Bank's
third location in Hendricks County. Monroe Bank opened its
first banking center in the county in Avon in September 2001 and a
second in Plainfield in October 2001.
Like the other two Hendricks County banking centers, the Brownsburg
banking center, which began operation on May 1, will specialize in
providing high quality financial products and personalized
service to area small businesses, public institutions and
residents. One of the Bank's most unique services is its "Monroe
BankRoll," or mobile banking service for business customers.
This convenient and secure courier service picks up and delivers
bank documents or deposits on scheduled daily pickups to regular
business customers. The Bank also offers the traditional banking
services, as well as investment and lending services for both
personal and business customers.
Anissa Goen, Assistant Vice President and Business Development Manager will officiate the ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for 5:15 pm, as the banking center hosts the Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours on May 14. Expected to assist will be Monroe Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Mark D. Bradford, Greater Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Walter Duncan, and building owners Mark Sanders, Lee Comer, Larry Good and Larry Goen. As part of the dedication ceremony, Monroe Bank is expected to make a donation to Brownsburg Beautification Efforts.
In addition to the ribbon cutting, the event will be marked with refreshments and door prizes. The new banking center is located at 65 Garner Road, Suite 400, just across the street from Boulder Creek Dining Co., which will be catering the event.
