BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Monroe Bank, an Indiana bank with
a 113-year heritage in community banking, is breaking ground
for a full-service banking center location in Brownsburg.
The ground breaking ceremony is scheduled for Friday, July
8, 2005 at 11:00 am at their new site on the corner of Garner
Road and State Road 267. The construction of this location
will mark the beginning of Monroe Bank’s transfer from
storefront locations in Avon, Brownsburg and Plainfield, opened
three years ago, to freestanding, full-service centers featuring
ATMs and drive-thrus.
Charlie Royal, Chairman of the Board, Monroe Bank; Mark Bradford,
President and CEO, Monroe Bank; Walter Duncan, Executive Director
of the Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce, will be in attendance.
