BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Monroe Bank is pleased to announce the promotions and new hires for the following associates:
· Nancy Eberle was promoted from Assistant Vice President to Vice President, Mortgage Loan Officer. Eberle has more than 30 years of banking experience and over the past five years has been recognized as the top mortgage loan producer at the Bank. She has also earned the honor of affiliate of the year by the Bloomington Board of Realtors.
· Jerry Stewart was promoted from Assistant Vice President to Vice President, Senior Loan Operations Officer. Stewart has over 22 years of banking experience. Stewart has been with Monroe Bank since 1997 when he was hired as the Senior Loans Operations Officer.
· Kathy Bowman was promoted from Mortgage Loan Officer to Assistant Vice President, Mortgage Loan Officer. Bowman, has over 14 years of mortgage lending experience at Monroe Bank. She is a lifelong Bloomington resident where she is very active within the community. Bowman regularly attends mortgage lending education classes to better serve her customers.
· Sandy Keen was promoted from Mortgage Loan Officer to Assistant Vice President, Mortgage Loan Officer. Keen has over 32 years of banking experience, 16 of that dedicated to mortgage lending. Keen supports the Bloomington community by serving in various capacities for South Central Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association, Bloomington Board of Realtors, Monroe County Home Builders Association and Crisis Pregnancy Center/Hannah House. Keen was distinguished with Monroe Bank’s Exemplary Leadership Award in 2005.
· Bonnie Hamilton, Monroe Bank’s Loan Compliance and Quality Control Supervisor, has been awarded Officer status. Hamilton has over 16 years of banking experience in the state of Indiana. She has been with Monroe Bank since 2002when she was hired as a Loan Compliance Specialist. She took up the mantle of Loan Compliance and Quality Control Supervisor in 2005.
· Michelle McManus, Manager of the Kirkwood Banking Center, has been awarded Officer status. McManus has been with the bank since 2004 when she was hired as a Monroe Bank Management Trainee. In September 2005, she was promoted to Banking Center Manager at the Kirkwood Banking Center. Prior to joining the Bank, McManus worked for several years in retail sales and retail management.
· Erin Gerth was recently hired as Marketing Officer for Monroe Bank. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a degree in Marketing and has eight years of banking experience to her credit. Besides her active roles in marketing and sales support in the past, Gerth was also banking center manager for a large mid western bank. At Monroe Bank, Gerth is responsible for marketing research and execution of marketing strategies for the bank. In her volunteer capacity, Gerth is actively involved in Edgewood High School’s Dollars for Scholars program where she currently is Vice President.
