BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Monroe Bank recently announced the
appointment of Susie Glasgow to the position of Branch Sales
Manager for the Brownstown location in Jackson County. Susie
has over 27 years of banking and management experience. Susie
began her career in 1978 when she joined Peoples State Bank
in Ellettsville, working there for 12 years. She worked for
Union Planters Bank (now Regions) for 13 years and most recently
worked for Tropical Financial Credit Union in West Palm Beach,
Florida. Susie holds a Series 6, 63, Life and Health Insurance
license in the state of Indiana.
Susie's recent move back to Indiana was prompted by her desire
to be close to her two sons who live in Indianapolis. The
choice of Brownstown as a home base was an easy decision.
Comments Susie: "My husband Steve and I have always loved
the Brownstown hills and the friendly people. When we lived
in Bloomington, we would come down to the festivals and drive
through the scenic countryside buying produce at the local
farms. We enjoy attending Brownstown Central High School Braves
football games on Friday evenings, eating breakfast every
Friday at the Whistle Stop in Vallonia and attending Brownstown
Christian Church. It is just a great small community to live
and work in.”
Monroe Bank customers and residents in Brownstown and Jackson
County are invited to meet Susie at an Open House Reception
on Friday, September 30th from 3-5 PM at the banking center
located at 1051 W Spring St in Brownstown. Adds Susie: “I
invite everyone in Brownstown and surrounding communities
to visit our banking center and see what great service we
provide and the array of products and services we have to
offer to meet all of your banking needs. We are here to stay
and to serve the community. There will be drawings for some
really fabulous prizes so don't miss the fun!" Refreshments
will be served. Anyone wishing to attend the reception should
call 812-358-3171.
