Scott joined the bank in 1985 as trust department manager. As manager and senior administrator of personal trust and investment management accounts, he is a source of reliable information and experienced judgment for his clients. Scott is a graduate of Bucknell University and received an MBA from Loyola University. He is also a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University and has earned the Certified Financial Service Counselor designation. Scott is Past President of the Hoosier Hills Estate Planning Council and the Bloomington Rotary Club and Past President and campaign co-chair of the United Way of Monroe County.

Dawn joined Monroe Bank in May 2006 and is responsible for formulating the Wealth Management Group’s investment program, including developing investment strategies related to asset allocation, identifying new investment opportunities and evaluating current investment selections. With a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from DePauw University and an M.B.A. from Butler University, Indiana, Dawn brings over twenty years of financial services and investment experience with her for the benefit of Monroe Bank and its customers. In addition to her professional expertise, Dawn serves as President of the Fine Arts Society of Indianapolis and is a member of Rotary International.

Her experience includes First National Bank of Bloomington, Bank One, and Community Trust & Investment Company. Mary is well known for her commitment to her customers.

David joined Monroe Bank in 2002 and is an excellent resource for his clients’ individual estate planning, IRA and investment needs. David graduated from Hanover College in Indiana with a B.A. in economics and received a J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law. David is a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana Bar Association and the Hoosier Hills Estate Planning Council. He is a board member and Past President of that Council. David is a major in the Judge Advocate General Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve.

John graduated from Northwestern University as an Evans Scholar where he also played varsity football. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from Chicago-Kent Law School, and he is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor. He developed a passion for the trust business at two major Chicago banks starting in 1973, and he has worked in several other banks in the Midwest. John has taught economics and tax courses at Lakeland College as an associate professor. John is a member of the Advisory Board for the Indianapolis Symphony, and he is Secretary of the Indianapolis Estate Planning Council.

Ed joined Monroe Bank in 2001 and is responsible for managing the Private Banking department of the Wealth Management Group. Private Banking is an integrated organization where investment management, lending and financial planning, along with a broad array of other banking services, are brought together within one group, dedicated solely to the financial needs of the busy professional. Ed holds a B.S. from Indiana University and a Chartered Financial Consultant designation. Ed has over 25 years of financial services experience, 20 of them spent in Boston. He is the treasurer of Jill's House, Foundation Chair of Bloomington North Rotary and is a past president of United Way Community Services of Monroe County.

A Bloomington native, Laura has been with Monroe Bank since 1994 and has a vast range of trust experience ranging from trust operations to account administration. Laura manages accounts for individuals, retirement plans, and settles estates. She is a graduate of the Cannon Trust School and President of the Hoosier Hills Estate Planning Council. Laura is an active community member, volunteering as a board member for My Sister’s Closet of Monroe County, a local non-profit organization that helps women re-enter the workforce.

Maria began her career at Monroe Bank in 2002. She received a bachelor’s degree in middle school education from Murray State University in Kentucky. Maria taught high school math, science and biology for two years. Prior to joining Monroe Bank, she spent five years as an administrative assistant for a trust department in Evansville. She then graduated from Cannon Trust School in 2001. She is a board member for both the Sycamore Land Trust and the Bloomington South Wrestling Club.

Matt has served as a Board Member of the Boys and Girls Club, is a Past President of the Bloomington Varsity Club, and is a member of the Hoosier Hills Estate Planning Council.
